Annagh Youth off to Half Decent Start
Mark Beattie took charge of his first game as Manager of Annagh United U16's on Saturday and will be pleased with the early porgress his young troops made. Having suffered a heavy defeat to Armagh City U16's recently the young lads narrowed the defeat down to 2-0 this time out but will count themselves unlucky not to earn a draw out of a game which they controlled possesion and territory. Two defensive laspses seen Armagh break from defence and finish with the second goal looking to be well offside. Harry McFadden, Dylan Lawson and Gavin Conn went close form the United youngsters but it wasnt to be. Beattie commented, "I am happy with the early progress the lads have made and it shows encouraging signs. We just need to keep working hard on the training ground and I have no doubt the results will come."
