Annagh Throw Away 2 Goal Lead for a 2nd Home Friendly Defeat
Annagh United lost their second consecutive pre-season friendly last night with a fiesty 4-2 defeat to local side Bournview YM. The visiting side fielded ex Annagh United players Johnny McAdam and Adam Neill. The result was doubly disappointing as Keith Wilkinson's men had gone into the half with a 2-0 lead thanks to goals from Brian Quilty and Adam Nesbitt.
However it was a different story in the second half as Bournview fought back thanks to some indifferent defending by the home side. So it's back to the drawing board for the Annagh who welcome another local Mid Ulster side, The Ambassadors for another pre-season friendly on Tuesday evening.
